There are tiny Cockers, and then there's Minnow. This pint-sized pup is 17 pounds and that's with 1-2 pounds to spare! She'd be a great fit for a smaller lap for some snuggles. Minnow was a stray who was not reclaimed by an owner, which surprised us since she is so well-adjusted and friendly. Minnow spent her first night at a temporary foster home, poking around in every nook and cranny to see what she could see. She's quite the inquisitive girl! She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, even a Great Dane she met at the vet office who was big enough to eat her as a snack! Since Minnow is a little shy about people grabbing at her, she'd do best with older children. At the moment, she has not been tested with cats. Our vet reports that Minnow is about 6 years old. Unfortunately, they also found a mast cell tumor, which was removed with clean margins. If you'd like to make a donation to help offset Minnow's surgery costs, she'd repay you in many kisses! Her ideal home would have a fenced backyard with lots of things to sniff. She loves exploring the outdoors and can entertain herself while you sit on the porch sipping a lemonade this spring.
