Toast

Isn't she adorable? Toast grew up with a young boy, but when the family's lifestyle changed, they had to say goodbye to their 9-year-old companion.

Toast is a sweetie and a smartypants! She's fully housebroken and knows Sit, Shake, Roll Over, High Five, and Jump. We have no doubt that she could pick up anything you want to teach her. Toast adores toys and her eyes will light up if you pick up a ball to throw for her.

This girl was already up to date on shots, had a dental cleaning, and received her heartworm & flea preventatives monthly. She has some ongoing skin, ear, and eye issues which we're investigating, but this girl does need special hypoallergenic food. Toast will require a home that is able to give the vet and TLC care that will maintain her general health in good condition. (We'll update as soon as we know!)

Toast's ideal home has a backyard where she can play fetch. She's good on a leash and would love daily walks so she can sniff everything and meet the neighborhood dogs. We can have her tested for cats if you have a feline at home. Though she did grow up with a young child, it's been a while since Toast has been near young children, so we think she'd be more comfortable snuggling with kids ages 10 - 110. ;-)
