Rebel

This is one Rebel with a cause: finding his forever home!

Rebel is a young guy - only 2 years old! - who lost his home when his humans divorced. He's as handsome as James Dean and has all the ladies (and gents!) swooning. At the shelter, Rebel worked his charms on the Doberman who shared his kennel and they became best buddies. Since Rebel is so social, we think he'd do best in a home with a canine sibling. At this time, he has not been tested with cats or children.

His young age means that Rebel has energy to burn! He's going to love bonding with you in obedience classes, go on runs, or play some fetch at the dog park. A canine sibling will also be a great exercise buddy for Rebel. A tired young dog is a well-behaved dog!

Rebel has one droopy eyelid and sometimes his eyelashes irritate his eye. We're having our vet assess whether he will need corrective surgery or if this can be alleviated with eye drops.

The volunteers and vet staff who have met Rebel describe him as sweet, friendly, and regal. We'll know more about him once he's in a foster home... maybe with you?
