Bocelli is one of the "Be Mine Nine," a group of Cockers that previously lived with a backyard breeder in rural Virginia. These dogs were living in squalid conditions and most hadn't seen a vet or a groomer in five years. Some are blind, others are sick, but all are total sweethearts that deserve a second chance.
Bocelli was so matted that we thought she was 1) a boy and 2) blind, hence the name. Under all that mess was a beautiful little social butterfly of a girl who does have a cataract in one eye but didn't let it stop her from running around the yard at Crosspointe Animal Hospital and collecting up all the toys. They call her "Miss Congeniality" because she is such a friendly sweetheart.
Miss Bocelli is so happy. She loves to run around with a toy in her mouth and then come snuggle with all her human friends and pass out kisses. She's doing wonderfully in her foster home and is eager to meet potential adopters.
