Parker

Parker was turned into the shelter with his whole family: "puppymama" Gracie, older son Rafi, and Simba the puppy.  Their humans were moving and did not want to bring along their 4-legged friends.  Their loss is our gain: these are all great dogs!

Parker is a very social dog and loves to romp around with canine companions. He appears to be housebroken and rides well in a car.  He is learning to play with toys and loves long walks!  Parker would be happy in a home with another dog for canine companionship.  As of yet, we have not seen Parker with cats or children.

Parker will be seeing our cardiologist for a consult because our vet discovered he has a level 3 (of 6) heart murmur and an arrhythmia.  We'll know soon what sort of treatment will keep him at his heart-healthiest.  Watch this space for updates about Parker's heart and his personality once we see him in a foster home
