Rose is a sweet young cockapoo who was given up due to a change in her household. At only a year old, she's in the adolescent stage, which is a fun and exciting time for a dog and owner to bond. (Unlike teenage children, an adolescent dog won't "borrow" your car!)

In her previous home, Rose lived with children and cats and got along well with them. She's also dog-friendly so could go to a home with another canine. She's housebroken and knows many commands like Sit, Stay, Down, Come, Go to Bed, and Drop It.

Adolescent dogs need lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Rose loves to play with her ball and chew on plush toys. If you tire her out with a nice long walk or a session of fetch, she'll nap peacefully. If she's got energy to burn, she'll find a way to burn it. A tired dog is a well-behaved dog!

According to her foster mom, this happy girl has never met a person or a dog -- big or small -- that she doesn't love. She visits an assisted living residence several times a week and can't get enough loving from the residents AND she has kisses and wags for all of them!
