Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue

Everyone needs a lil' Buddy, especially one as sweet as this!  This 4 year old diminutive cocker is practically perfect.  He's been described as an "all around nice, friendly little guy" by his transporter and "sweet and gentle" by the vet's office.  He's shown he's great with other dogs and greets them happily.  We don't have any history of him with cats, though after watching his sincere "interest" in birds and squirrels, we don't think cats would be a great idea.

Little Buddy was someone's baby, until his elderly owner could no longer care for him.  So he's used to living indoors with his family and is said to be housebroken!  That showed when he rode in the car - it didn't phase him in the least and he spent his time looking out the window or sleeping.  He loves to look out the window at home too - and his long, undocked tail wags nonstop when anyone passes by!  Despite having a cataract in one eye, he's able to see just fine and it doesn't slow him down in the least.

Right now, Little Buddy has taken his name a bit too literally and could stand to pack on a few pounds - he should weigh about 25 lbs.  But seeing that he's a cocker spaniel, we don't foresee that taking too long with quality food and lots of TLC.

So what do you say?  Are you ready for a new Little Buddy in your life?
