One who is dear or beloved; a darling.



This definition certainly describes our Precious!  She’s super sweet and gets along well with everyone on two (or four) legs.



Precious was a December puppy, born in 2004.  She just celebrated her 8th birthday!  Her owner could no longer care for her as he aged.  From him, we learned that Precious lived with another cocker for much of her life and they got along well.  She also is said to like respectful children.   Though Precious is certainly friendly, she’s also a little shy – so incredibly boisterous families or households might overwhelm her.



Precious has great house manners and would never dream of using the bathroom indoors.  She’s used to some creature comforts, like sleeping curled up on the couch or a comfy blanket.  She’s got a medium energy level so could probably do well with long daily walks if you don’t have a large yard.  She doesn’t bark a whole lot – only at those pesky beavers, fox or deer who dare come into her domain!



Our transporter mentioned that she rode very well in the car – and had only wonderful things to say about her personality, too.
