Keung Keung

This dog is smart! He knows several verbal commands and learns new words and tricks quickly. If you gently tug his leash twice, he will sit! There's one tiny thing we should mention: all of Keung's command words are in Korean. The good news is that dogs follow your body more than your words, so we should have Keung "bilingual" in no time.

Keung is housebroken, good on a leash and loves to play. This "ten years young" dog lives to play fetch, fetch and more fetch. He'll fetch squeaky balls, tennis balls, and stuffed toys. He will play inside with toys being thrown a few feet away or run like the wind outside to chase tennis balls thrown across the yard. All that matters to him is that he gets to fetch and retrieve as much as possible. When he's not playing, he's a cuddle bug that loves to be on a lap or cuddled next to his special someone in bed at night.

Keung is agile enough to jump a 3 foot fence. So if you're planning on letting him loose in the back yard, a 4' or taller fence is needed to keep him safe. He'd love a home where he'd get lots of love and attention and daily walks so he can sniff around the neighborhood. Keung would prefer a feline-free and child free home (he likes food and toys of his own)!

Keung has some minor medical conditions. He needs daily eye drops for his dry eye and has had 3-4 seizures a year. Our vet will assess the need for seizure medications. He'll gladly take his meds so long as there's a treat and playtime afterwards! Keung would prefer an adult only home with experienced dog owners.
