Who wants to play and feel safe?  My name is Sammy and I'm a happy but shy 18 month old pup hoping for some help with what they call trust issues (I get a little scared in new situations sometimes). Some quiet time is great, but I am learning that there's a lot to see and do in this big world!

I am a sweet boy with lots of love to share with a furever family (experienced cocker owners and adolescent and older kids only please). I sure hope they find me soon so we can begin spending all of our days together.  Did I mention I like other doggies?  If you have pups in your home, I'd be great with some siblings. I also reach out to cats if they are interested. I am sweet, affectionate and all around wonderful.  You really have to meet me in the fur to see what you've been missing.  Make plans to meet up with me soon(I am recovering from some knee surgery and will have a complete healing they say
