Jack

Hi!  My name is Jack, and I'm a 3-year-old buff boy looking for you!

I just arrived at OBG and am getting all fixed up at the vet's office.  I think somebody signed me up for "the works," because since I've been here I've been neutered, my ear infections are being treated, and I'm being treated for worms and lyme too.  Also, the doc noticed that I'm a bit guarded around my left hip/paw area and discovered my hip bone is out of socket.  Oddly, there is no socket, so the doctor couldn't fix it while I was under anesthesia.  It seems I suffered a substantial injury in the past and I've been in pain, so it's nice to finally be getting some attention here so they can fix me up!  UPDATE:  I just had surgery on my hip, and I'm already feeling so much better, but still need some rehab and healing time.  The doc says I did great and my prognosis is good to live a happy, comfortable life!

Unfortunately not too much is known about me, since I'm a bit on the private side and haven't shared much about my past.  I think I'd thrive in a loving home with active, tender adults, and adolescents should be fine too.  Children have not treated me kindly in the past, so I'm a bit skittish around them.  I would also enjoy a canine companion!

I turn quite a few heads now that I'm all cleaned up and looking my best.  Don't you want to accompany a fine gent like me through this journey called life?
