Sophie

Hi there, it's me, Sophie!  I'm a very pretty 5-year-old gal who loves people and other dogs.  I recently relocated to the DC Metro area because I think I'll have a much easier time meeting a family to fall in love with here.  I'm hoping I caught your eye because I'm ready to be yours!

I am happy, sweet and energetic.  If you say "Give me howdy", I'll graciously extend my left paw to shake your hand!  I can't wait to learn more commands and tricks with you!

At my previous home I lived outdoors and I understand life is much better inside a warm, cozy home.  I think indoor living will allow me to love my humans better and more easily bond with fur siblings. In fact, I am looking for a home with another canine because I am a bit anxious when left alone.  All of this change is great but it sure is an adjustment!

OBG is getting me all squared away so I'll be in tip-top shape when we meet.  My ears have been treated for infections and I'm having cherry eye surgery too.  Once I'm yours, we'll have it made :)

P.S.  The doc wants me to shed a few pounds...have you ever heard that before?  I hope we can go for lots of walks together!  Let's ring in 2014 with resolutions of good health!
