Speckles

I'm one of the Sweet Sixteen, rescued by OBG with fifteen of my closest friends and relatives!  I'm lovin' life with the rescue.  I'm an oh so handsome 6-year-old speckled boy, thus my name, Speckles!

In my foster home, I live with another cocker and we get along great. We like to play and roll around in the living room together. I like going for walks with my foster family and slowly sniffing my way around the neighborhood. Why speedwalk when you can stop and smell the lamp posts? Quiet, wooded areas are my favorite places to sniff. Cars don't smell nice but trees smell great!

My foster mom is teaching me things using the clicker. If I do something good, like sit or lay down, she clicks and gives me a treat. It is so much fun! My favorite toys are Nylabones for chewing and balls for chasing.

I'm really hoping to find myself in a forever home soon.  I'm adorable, friendly, and housebroken. Crates are no fun, but that's because you can trust me to hold it until you get home, I promise!

You may find me a bit shy when you see me at an adoption show, but I promise that once I get to know you, I'm quite the cuddler. I currently receive daily eye drops to help keep my peepers moist.  I suspect I'll continue on this regimen but don't worry, it's easy peasy!
