Bounce

Hello, everyone, my name is Bounce, and I am 5 years old and weigh 15 pounds.  Despite having had an extremely rough start in life, I am looking forward to finding a family who lives within 2 hours of the Washington DC area to love me!  I am a very shy boy.  My foster Mom says I have really improved in letting her know what I want because when she stop scratching me under my chin, I paw at her to keep on doing it.  You can check out a video of me doing that here!

I'm a bit of a homebody.  I am perfectly happy to take quick walks and just remain at home where I feel safe.  Because I was never exposed to it, I find the outdoors can be a scary place with all the dogs, lawnmowers and cars so I'm looking for a quiet environment.  When I'm outside my foster Mom ensures that we avoid getting close to all those things that I find scary.

I would be happy being an only dog.  I would not do well in a home with several people or children.  I am really looking for a "forever " home with someone who will love me and patiently teach me to live and love life to the fullest.  I know OBG will try very hard to help me find a match, and people can come to meet at my foster home any time.  Because of the extent of my fears, OBG would like to adopt me out locally.
