Remy

You just had to click on my pic, right?  I'm so very handsome!  My name is Remy, and I am a good boy.  My former owner was so sad to surrender me, but circumstances changed and she thought finding me another place to hang my leash would be best.  I celebrated my 13th birthday in April.  I can hardly believe it!

My foster mom is pleased to report that I'm very sweet, quiet, and house-trained.  I have only gotten up on the couch once.  My main job in life is to be someone's companion.  I will happily follow you from room to room.  I get along with the resident dogs in the house, but I would do well as an only dog, too.  I am also sweet with children.  If you like to walk, I'm pretty good on the leash.  I can tag along for about a mile.

My ideal home would not include many steps.  At 37#, I'm a little heavy to carry, and more than a handful of stairs give me trouble to get up and down.  While I am deaf, I do not have any health issues.  I'll happily respond if I see you waving at me.  (And since I can't hear, I won't bark at random noises like other dogs!) 

If you're looking for a quiet older fellow to keep you company, I'm your guy!
