Alvin

Hi world!  My name is Alvin.  I'm not a Chipmunk but rather a 5-year-old English hunk of love that can also understand a bit of Spanish.  I'm also housebroken.  What can I say, I'm a studious young chap?!  I have lots of love to give but my previous family's landlord didn't seem to care for furry residents.  Sadly, I got kicked to the curb when he laid down the law.

You might have noticed that I look a little different from the other cocker spaniels in this group - that's because I'm an English cocker!  We are usually a little larger and have a longer snout and I'm no exception.  I am taller than my American cocker foster brother and sister and weigh about 30 pounds, but could probably stand to put on a few pounds.

I am so grateful to be a member of OBG.  I am loving, sweet and playful.  There are so many new things to take in an explore and I'm excited about each and every one of them.  Grass? I'VE NEVER SMELLED ANYTHING SO INTERESTING! Hallways? SO HAPPY ABOUT BEING IN A HALLWAY RIGHT NOW!! Doorways? OMG IT OPENS. WHAT'S THROUGH THERE?! LET'S INVESTIGATE! As you can probably tell, I am curious and have lots of energy, so I hope you are active just like me!

I've already started making a list of things I'd like to do when I find my new home. Iwould love to take my studies to the next level by attending doggy obedience school - oh what fun we will have!  I'm up for walks and runs but I am a little unsure of and reactive around other dogs I encounter when I'm out and about, so I feel safest when I keep my distance.  I love to zip around outside so I am definitely looking for a home with a large, fenced-in yard.  Phew, I better stop here, lest you think I'm too demanding - but I'm so happy and excited about what lies ahead that I just can't help dreaming of all the fun we can have, you and me.

I've been known to wrap folks around my paw pretty quickly...so if you're looking for some furry love - don't be shy.  I am a beautiful, spirited and happy pup just waiting for someone to see my potential shine through!
