Gem

Hi! My name is Gem and I'm a ~1 year-old miniature poodle!  I landed in a local animal shelter after being found as a very matted stray.  While not a cocker, I do have some pretty impressive curls of my own!

Are you looking for good times?  I am the life of the party!  I LOVE my toys and my enthusiasm for life cannot be squelched.  I love zipping around a fenced-in yard and I can bounce up and down with the best of them, almost like I'm on a trampoline!  While I have lots of puppy energy, I do calm down, especially if I'm being held and snuggled.  I enjoy the company of other dogs and I cherish time spent with humans.

I am scoping out families who like to be in the thick of the action, just like me!  I am hopeful my forever family has a fenced-in yard so I can run and play until I drop.  I understand I'll benefit from basic obedience classes, so sign me up!  I want to be the best pup I can be.
