Adam

Hi world, my name is Adam!  I am a very handsome 3-year-old "honorary" cocker.  My genes are a mystery, but my foster family thinks I'm likely mixed with dachsund or basset hound since I'm a low rider.  I have the most beautiful eyes and I'm the perfect mid size dog at 40 pounds!

I am a very gentle, nice boy.  I think I'll fit in well in most homes because I'm content to lay by your side but I also like to explore the toy box.  I love to be around people and sometimes I will nudge your hand to let you know I need some pets.  I enjoy the company of dogs and kids, and mostly ignore cats.  In fact, I LOVE to play with my furry foster siblings!  I'm housebroken, love the doggy door and have free reign of the home when my humans are gone.  I am basically a gentle puppy - full of energy and anxious to play.  Sometimes I'm not sure which toys are mine, so I ask my humans to get their input.  I never mistake their things for toys when they aren't home, I'm just looking for feedback when they are!   I'm learning how to walk nicely on my leash. 

My dream family would have another dog for me to play with.  I'd also love a human who would take me to basic obedience classes, to both build our bond and teach me some commands.  I know I'll be the star of my class because I'm smart and eager to please.  What do you think?!  Come meet me in the fur so we can get to know each other!!
