Pearl

Meet Pearl!  Pearl is part of a pair that came to OBG because their owner was rarely home and was gone for long periods of time.  Pearl and her buddy Pepper have lived their entire lives together and would love to be adopted together.  But even though they get along so well, OBG thinks that these two dogs might be able to be adopted separately.  We are checking this out and will continue to post information about them as we learn more.

Pearl is a low-key kind of dog and can be playful if the mood strikes her.  She is friendly and sociable.  Like many dogs, she is picky about younger children and prefers to spend her time with adults and possibly older courteous children who know the ins and outs of how to treat a dog.  Pearl is house-trained and walks well on leash.  She loves car rides and would do well with an owner who has the time to spend with her, giving her the attention she deserves.  We are not sure how well Pearl gets along with cats.

Pearl is about 8 years old and weighs about 40 pounds but needs to lose a few!  She carries her size well and is not overweight.   If you think you might be that special kind of person, give Pearl's foster mum a call.  She's wagging her tail in anticipation.
