Scrappy

Hi there!  My name is Scrappy and I am a happy, healthy, buff and white 6 year old Cocker Spaniel.  Not much is known about my past, but the folks at OBG think I spent most of my previous life secluded to a laundry room.  Not anymore!

I am a well behaved boy with a good energy level.  In fact, I am so well behaved my parents let me have the whole run of the house while they are gone!  I am housebroken and very obedient.  I know many commands including “sit”, “down”, "paw", “leave it” and “stay”.  My foster parents are giving me refresher courses in my skills and I can’t wait to learn more…especially since it leads to yummy treats!  I love spending any time I can with my humans, and will take advantage of any opportunity I can to cuddle with them.  I love car rides and am good on a leash.  Sometimes I can be a little timid when going into the backyard, but I am working on this with my foster parents encouragement.  And I do love walks!

I 

get along great with my fur brothers and also do well with cats.  I have been around children and did great with them.  However, I am working on some resource guarding issues, so younger children are off limits for me…I prefer the older crowd!  

My ideal family will be experienced dog owners, and be able to work with me to be the best dog I can be.  But most importantly they will give me lots of love!
