Berkley

Hi everyone!  My name is Berkley and I was found as a stray.  I refuse to reveal my age but the friendly folks I've met think I'm about 10.  I'm a special little guy, so full of love that the moment I meet someone, I roll over for belly rubs.  The employees at the animal shelter fell in love with me and became my biggest advocates, that's how I wound up here!

Since it's pool season and I packed on some winter weight, would you like to be my exercise buddy?  I'm embarrassed to tell you my weight when I arrived so let's just say while I've made progress, I still need to shed 10 more pounds.  This shouldn't be hard to do though because I love walks and exploring my yard.  I get along well with other dogs and I always want to greet each one I see on my walks.  I have met a few kids in my neighborhood and we get along just fine too.   I love humans and like to pass out kisses, although I'm a bit shy when initially meeting someone.  I'm housebroken and do wonderfully when left loose in my foster home.

Now that I've settled in here, my foster mom wanted me to tell you that I'm like a fun friend who's always excited and happy to join you in whatever you're doing.  Walking, going out to the yard, riding in the car or meeting new people.  When I hear my name I come running with my happy nub wagging!
