Chocolate Chip

Hi everyone, my name is Chocolate Chip - but you can call me Chip for short!  I'm a 7-year-old sweetheart.  Sadly, my owners could no longer care for me, so we parted ways.  We will always love each other, but I know I will find a new family to adopt and love very soon!

I'm an amazing boy, if I do say so myself.  I like to cuddle, play and stay by your side.  I'm cheerful and easy-going.  I enjoy outings either in the car (I love to let the wind blow through my curls) or on foot - walks are so much fun!  I'm housebroken and enjoy playing with other dogs.  Some of my favorites are playing frisbee and catch and of course tasty treats!  I have a yellow alligator toy that I take with me most everywhere.  Maybe I can bring it with me to your home!

I have settled into my foster home pretty well, so now I can tell you even more about the kind of family I'm looking for.  I must have a doggie sibling, because I love other dogs!  I do very well with kids, too.  I have separation anxiety, so I hope to find a family who is home more often than not.  A single-family home with a fenced-in yard is what I dream of.  I should mention that I'm not very fond of strangers, especially men.  Although once I know you're my friend, I'm friendly and welcoming.  I'm a very good boy.
