Carolina is a pretty 42#, 3-4 year old cocker mix.  She was found as a stray, and after nobody came to claim her at the animal shelter, she packed up her leash and collar and headed to OBG.

Carolina is aptly named, as she came to us from North Carolina!  She is very sweet, with not an aggressive bone in her body.  She is low energy inside of the house, often seeking "safe" spaces to spend the day.  She loves to go for walks, where her true self shines, and she walks well on a leash.  She also enjoys riding in the car.  Carolina is completely house-trained and has not had any accidents in her foster home.
Carolina is extremely shy and unsure of herself and the world, so she would benefit from some confidence building.  She gets along with other dogs, and we feel she would be happiest with another dog in her new home, as she seems to learn a lot from watching other canines.  She would do best in a home with all women.  Since Carolina is so shy and cities are new to her, she will need a quiet, serene environment with minimal car traffic or other loud noises.  She would not do well either in an urban environment or in a home with young children.
