Hi there!  My name is Tally and I hail from Kentucky, where I was picked up as a stray.  Boy oh boy has my luck changed since then, since I went from the streets to the high life with OBG, strolling around our nation's capitol!  I'm currently in a foster home with two other cockers, male and female.  We get along great, although I don't actively seek them out to play.  We're a low key crew.

I am three and a half years old.  I weigh about 30 pounds, but I'm a food motivated chap, so mom and dad have to keep an eye on me to ensure I stay slim.  People often comment on my unique coloring.  You might not be able to see it in my photos, but I'm black and tan with some white swirling on my back.  And I'm as sweet as I am handsome!

When I am happy my little docked tail wags a mile a minute.  Besides food (I am a cocker, after all), the thing that makes me happiest is people!  I love to cuddle up with them and wherever my people are, you know I'll be close by.  I love to lay like a froggy, back legs splayed behind me.  One of my other favorite things is the great outdoors, as seen from the safety of my yard or window. I'd love a yard to hang out in and people who won't leave me home alone for a long time each day.  I'd also do best in a low key home, since that's the kind of guy I am.

Since coming to OBG, I gave my people a bit of a scare because I had seizures.  Fortunately, those are under control since I take my medicine twice a day.  I love medicine time, since that means I get an extra treat!  I'm embarrassed to say that my meds made me regress a little in my house training, but I've already made progress in getting back to where I was before: totally housebroken.  I know I can do it!  I do need a home without young children, due to my medical condition, but I get along great with everyone so visiting kids and neighbors should be just fine.

If you would like to get to know me, please contact my foster parents.  I've already stolen their hearts, so I'm sure I can steal yours too!
