Kafu

Hi everyone, I'm Kafu!  I am a 11-year-old beautiful auburn fellow with lots of love to share.

Although I'm blind, you would never guess it.  When we go on walks, I often lead the way.  The cats at my foster home love to rub up against me, and I don't mind a bit.  In fact, at night I sleep on the bedroom floor of my foster mom and dad's . . . in a cat bed!  I love curling up and getting cozy.  I'm so well behaved, I never jump up on the bed.  In the mornings, I sometimes crawl up into my foster dad's lap.  I love to snooze there!  I have an especially nice habit you may appreciate...when it's rainy or snowy outside, I sit in the foyer when I come inside and wait to be toweled off!  How about that!

Did I mention folks cannot believe I'm blind?  I get around so very easily.  Foster dad's lap is my favorite place to be.  Because I can't see, I get jealous over toys other pups have and will stir up trouble.  I would do best as an only dog where I get all the love and attention - and no sharing :)  I get along with other dogs, it's just that I always seem to want whatever toy they have.  People say I have the softest auburn fur they've ever petted!  I enjoy lazy days of napping and walks on my leash every day.  Car rides are fun, too!
