Rocco

Hi!  My name is Rocco.  I am a 11 year old beautiful auburn fellow, weigh about 35 pounds, and have a docked tail.  Humans are number one on my list.  I love, love, love to snuggle on my fosters' laps.  My foster mom is always kissing my face and saying what a good boy I am.  I must say I do have good manners.  I curl up in a soft cat bed each night on my foster parent's bedroom floor.  I don't get up on the bed, but I may put my paws on the bed when the alarm goes off in the morning.  Time to get up and feed me!  

I play well with others, both cats and dogs! Balls are one of my favorite things ever!  I follow my foster peeps and follow them everywhere.  Car rides are great!  I enjoy walks and am quite good on leash.

I am also very smart!  When it rains. I wait to be toweled off before walking on the nice floor. When a dog has got to go, you have to go, even in the rain!  My foster mom says she's never seen anything like it! The cats around here seem to like me too!  Since I was recently groomed, the fur on my back is very thin and sparse.  I now wear sweaters to help stay warm. I'm quite dapper if I do say so myself. 

An ideal home for me would be an experienced nurturing home with no young kids.  Ages 8 and above are my favorite!  I am a super duper easy guy and don't mind being crated when you need to leave me at home.  

My foster family recently found that I have a medical condition called Cushings disease that is treated with a daily pill and periodic blood work.  If I take my pills each day and have my blood work checked on schedule, I am good to go!  If you would like to meet me or learn more about me, please drop my foster a line at the link below.
