Cooper

Hi, it's me, Cooper!  Have you ever seen a cuter boy?  I'm a proud new member of this great cocker club, OBG!  I am just 4 years old and I was recently sprung from the animal shelter.  My owner had a change in lifestyle and sadly that's where I wound up.  Thank goodness, very soon after I arrived there, a guardian angel found me and dropped me off at this really cool rescue! Folks are great here and just want to help us all!

There are lots of great things about me.  I walk nicely on my leash, and love going out, I'm not much of a barker (unless someone comes a knocking and then you want me to bark, right?) and I'm housebroken. I am also really good at the groomers.  

I socialize very well with other dogs so if you have one at your house, that would be wonderful.  I am already best friends with my sister cocker in my foster home. We play a little bit together, but we let each other play with our toys nicely. We don’t try and steal from each other – toys or food.  But honestly, I love food, and treats and can’t wait to get my share!  I am very slim, so mom says its ok for now till I fill out a little. I do woof up human food if its left where I can snatch it up though, (I am a cocker after all!)  so probably best to have no young children in the family.

I love to be right with you all the time, and want you to stroke me and love on me.  Tummy rubs are a favorite!  Sleeping close to you would also be wonderful!

I am pretty fun to be around so don't waste any time hitting me up!  Make plans to meet me right away!

P.S.  I am heartworm positive :(  Because of your kind donations, my life-saving treatment will begin soon.)  but I do have to be kept very quiet and calm during this time.
