Charlie

Charlie is looking for his forever home -- can you please help him?  Charlie is only 7 years old and was turned in by his owner when they could no longer care for him.  He needs to lose a few pounds but walks well on a leash so will be easy to get the pounds off of him.  

Charlie is a delightful fellow to have around!  He is well-behaved and house-trained, so he has free roam of the house.  His leash manners are perfect until he sees things on the walk and he can't help himself but to bark at those things.  His ideal forever home is in suburbs where he can enjoy a backyard as he is clearly not meant for city life.  He loves toys so much that we do not recommend children or other dogs in his forever home.  He lived with cats in his last home and also did fine.  Oh he loves car rides too!

Charlie freely passes out kisses. He'll let you know if his water dish is empty by kicking it around the kitchen.  It is so adorable!  He tried that with his food dish, too, and was disappointed when it didn't get refilled!  

Like any cocker, he will need routine ear care and he is a dream with the cleaning.  Charlie can be choosy about his dog friends.  We know he would LOVE to be an only dog.  He really is a sweetie and looking for his forever home!
