Sammie

Sammie is a beautiful girl who is 28 pounds and 11 years young.  Sadly her owner had to surrender her before moving into assisted living. Sammie is a happy girl with a loving personality.  She enjoys nothing more than to snuggle up with her favorite person on the sofa.  She is used to having a special spot next to her favorite person, loves to sleep in the bed, and relax in a sun spot on the carpet. 

Sammie is blind due to glaucoma that required removal of one eye and left her blind in the other.  She does need daily drops for the remaining eye which she easily accepts.  She has the cutest perpetual wink!  It's that charming personality of hers that makes this an asset for her, not a disability.  Sammie is housebroken and gets along with dogs.  Sammie has arthritis and low thyroid and takes daily meds.  Due to her arthritis, Sammie needs a home without steps or a bedroom on the main floor.  She would very much enjoy having her special someone around most of the time too!  This girl is a true gem, and is filled with so much love!
