Daisy

Hey there, my name is Daisy a/k/a Daisy Duke a/k/a Crazy Daisy a/k/a Daisy Mae.  I am a 35 lb. girl, approximately 1 year old, who came to the USA because many people in Egypt mistreat the Baladis because we are considered dirty street dogs.  The good news is that there are also people in Egypt who know how loving and wonderful the Baladis truly are and I was smart enough to hide under the front porch of a dog rescuer in Egypt.  She was already working with this cocker rescue group, OBG, to take a cocker spaniel when she found me.  So she asked if OBG could please also save my life since it wasn't safe to adopt me out in Egypt.  OBG said yes which means that I am now living the good life in Alexandria, VA!

Since arriving at OBG, I've been a favorite of everyone who meets me.  I love people of all ages, including children and have an extra sweet temperament, if I do say so myself.  I love to play with other dogs and love all kinds of toys.  I also like to chew on Nyla bones and other chew toys.  I'm housebroken and a pretty smart cookie who knows how to sit and to come when called.  All in all, I have to say that I'm a real catch!
