Misty

Misty is a 2-year-old, 30-pound gorgeous spaniel-Austrian Shepherd mix with the cutest white-dipped paws.  She wags a long tail and has a bib of white fur on her chest.  Misty was an owner turn-in to a South Carolina shelter because she barked in her crate too much.  We are not too surprised that she wanted to be out playing with dogs, cats and people, because she is super friendly.

Sadly, Misty is heartworm positive and will need life-saving $1,500 OBG-sponsored treatment. Her recovery time is about three months, during which she has to be kept quiet; but we anticipate a complete recovery after treatment.  Misty is keeping her crate clean at the kennel and is a staff favorite!
