Bentley

Bentley has arrived!  Bentley is a 9 year old black Cockapoo. Bentley's family left him in the night drop at a West Virginia shelter. He was so matted that it took hours for the vet staff to groom him where they found children's small toys and fleas  As you can see from his pictures,  he's a handsome and happy boy now!  Bentley weighs 27 pounds and needs to lose about three pounds to hit his ideal weight.

Bentley did fine with other dogs at the shelter.  He's been great for handling at the vet's office even with all his matted fur.   The note his family left said he was good with cats too but we haven't been able to test him yet.  He is a little shy so we don't think he is a good fit for children.
