Jack

Is that you, Jack Frost?  Nah, this Jack just arrived from the warm temps of Puerto Rico!  Jack is a gorgeous 6-year-old English Cocker Spaniel.  A veterinary technician contacted us to tell us that Jack was surrended to a local shelter with a severe eye infection and fungus all over his body, plus a horrible neck wound from being tied up.  They had hoped to have him adopted locally, but the hurricane hit, so Jack recently made the trip to us in northern Virginia.

Jack spent several months with a foster in PR, and she reports that he loves people and dogs but must have a cat-free home.  Jack enjoys grooming, car rides and playing in the rain.  He is housebroken, too.  Jack has been around children over the age of 8 and did very well.   Jack is very skilled at escaping so he will need a very secure fence!
