Lazarus

Lazarus hails from South Carolina where he lived with 11 other dogs until his owner entered assisted living and surrendered him to the local shelter.  As you probably noticed, Lazarus isn't a cocker spaniel!  No, he is a black lab mix and quite a pretty boy.  He is around 8-10 years old and weighs 56 pounds. 

Lazarus is a timid, low-energy boy, who is very sweet with everyone.  He gets along well with the dogs and cats in his foster home.  So far, he hasn't showed any interest in toys.  Lazarus is okay with stairs, but he prefers to stay on the first floor and sleep in a doggie bed at night. 

We think Laz would like a home with a confident dog who can be his companion and show him the ropes in his new place.
