Honey

Please welcome our new girl, Honey! She is as sweet as her name suggests. Honey was dropped off at a South Carolina shelter because she couldn't stand.  She was scheduled for euthanasia the same day until the shelter trimmed her nails which allowed her to stand, walk, and play!  The shelter reached out to one of our intake team volunteers and Honey was quickly accepted by OBG!

Honey is 10 years young and weighs 40 pounds. She needs to lose a few pounds but also tested positive for hypothyroidism.  She has started daily inexpensive medication for this condition.  She is good with dogs and cats too!   She loves people, rides quietly in the car and walks well on the leash.  Honey is housebroken too.  Honey appears to have cataracts but can see and will be visiting our eye specialist in northern Virginia for an assessment.
