Angel was the center of her elderly owners world for 8 years and then suddenly they could no longer care for her. Sadly, it appears they had no other options but to surrender her to a local shelter. Fortunately for Angel, OBG became her saving grace when her time quickly ran out.

Since Angel is used to a quieter, predictable lifestyle, a home without younger kids would probably be more to her liking. She is very interested in food and almost helped herself to a pumpkin pie during Thanksgiving. Her new family will need to keep tasty food items pushed away from the edge of the table or counter since this little girl has a sweet tooth!

Angel and another OBG named Suzy Q were sprung from the same shelter and got along quite well together. We do know Angel gets along with other dogs. Angel currently lives with another dog in her foster home and desperately tries to engage her housemate in play, so she would probably love another playful dog to pass the time with or a person who likes to play tug of war and throw a tennis ball. Also a weight coach would be a plus to help her get back her girlish figure.

Both the shelter and her foster home have reported that Angel is definitely housebroken. Angel also knows some commands so her former family obviously worked with her.

She is a very sweet gentle girl who would love to snuggle on the couch with someone and watch TV. Also likes to sleep at the foot of the bed but doesn't migrate toward the middle.

She is hoping a new family wants their own personal "angel" this holiday season. If you would like a loving, housebroken, calm family member, please email us or look for Angel at upcoming adoption events.
