Boo Boo

Boo Boo had a good life as a cherished house dog until his owner passed away and he was brought to the shelter. OBG knew this snuggly 6-year-old still had plenty of love left to give, so we bailed him out and have been receiving thanks in the form of snuggles ever since.

Boo Boo adores the attention of his favorite humans. He'll sit by your side, rest his head on your chest, and look at you with his big brown eyes. Just try to resist that! He even gives hugs by putting one paw on each of your shoulders and snuggling his head against yours. (Beware: sometimes you'll get your ear licked!). In fact, once Boo Boo gets in the snuggly mood, if you try to stop petting him, he'll look at you as if to say, "Hey, what gives?" If you ignore him, he'll tap you with his paw to remind you to pay attention. How can you let your hands be idle when there's an adorable cocker to pet?

Boo Boo is a high energy dog and would love if his human enjoyed long walks or hikes in the woods. He would do very well on a long line in areas where he would not come across other dogs or cars. Nothing pleases this boy more than putting his nose to the ground and following the tracks of a squirrel or deer. After going to a Basic manners class, Boo Boo would really flourish in Nose Work, where he'd be able to put his sniffer to the test!.

As far as humans go, Boo Boo prefers them full-grown. He wants to be the center of attention, so would need to be an only pet. But don't worry, he's got enough snuggles and kisses to go around! Boo Boo would thrive in a home that has little visual and auditory stimuli. He has been raised in a home without much commotion, and he thrives in that kind of environment.
