Casey is a handsome 6-year-old with gorgeous big eyes, long royal ears, and eyelashes that most women would kill for. He was the loved "child" and all was well until his owner became ill and moved into an Assisted Living situation. Casey and his former family are hoping that an adopter will see what an incredible gem he is and will make him a new family member.

In his former home, Casey lived next to a school and the children would often greet him, which he seemed to enjoy, so he would be fine with visiting grandchildren. He would probably do well living with children above 8, as well, if they are respectful of dogs. Casey has lived with another cocker in the past, and he is being fostered with one currently.

Casey walks well on a leash and looks like a Westminster dog-in-training. However, he is a little leash reactive, which his foster is working on. Casey attends Foster Dog training at Your Dog's Friend.

Casey is also extremely affectionate and will smother you with kisses while you snuggle together on the sofa. This sweet boy is also housebroken and is allowed free roam while his family is gone.

Casey is a darling Cocker Spaniel who has known only love in his life. His expressions are adorable and he loves to give a paw for any reason at all. He would do best in a single family home with someone home most of the time. He is used to constant human company, and he cried initially when left at his foster home. His foster followed a simple protocol to help dogs with separation distress, and she is pleased to report that he no longer cries. However, we expect that the new adopter will need to follow a similar routine.
