Dusty

Dusty is a beautiful 7 year old lad! He is playful and loving and he's just looking for a new family to call his own.

IMPORTANT: Dusty has been diagnosed with Fanconi's Disease. We strongly recommend that anyone who is interested in adopting him needs to do research on Fanconi's Disease before inquiring about an adoption.

Caring for Dusty will involve giving regular nutritional supplements, access to fresh filtered water at all times, and allowing him to "do his business" much more frequently than other dogs. A fenced yard would be a requisite for this(no apartment/condo living). He will urinate voluminously in the house if not taken out every 4-6 hours. Venous blood gas tests as well as other medical tests will be necessary every 10 weeks or so in order to calibrate his dietary supplement regimen. This will be needed for the rest of his life.
