Suzy Q

Hi there! My name is Suzy Q and I am a sweet little love bug looking for my furever home. I am a 12 year old girl who was picked up as a stray, roaming the streets of Baltimore scared and alone. Having been neglected for quite some time, I needed a hair cut and a visit to the dentist. I lost a lot of hair and all but three of my teeth, but I did not lose my ability to love or trust.

I am currently living the good life with a foster family in Virginia. I get along great with my other fur fosters, another senior female cocker spaniel and a young 16 month old Brittany Spaniel. I also get along very well with the three kids in the house, ages 11, 14 and 16. I like having the companionship of another dog and while I have a lot of energy for a senior girl, I am not all that playful. I am active and enjoy a walk, but am just as content snoozing the day away and enjoying a good movie, some popcorn and belly rubs!

I am housebroken and crate trained, but my foster family lets me have free roam of the house while they are gone. A gal my age isn't interested in getting into mischief. I'm more interested in finding a nice comfy place to nap. I would love nothing more than a family to call my own for my retirement years.
