Teddy is a sweet guy who was surrendered to a high kill shelter after his owner was unable to physically care for him. His foster mom has nicknamed him "Romeo" because of his ability to fall in love, in record time. Once you have his heart, he will show his affection with ample "cocker kisses."

Teddy is currently doing well in a foster home with other dogs. In fact, we feel that he would probably do best in a home with another canine companion to keep him company. At this point, we do not know how he feels about cats or kids. Teddy is learning about proper doggy house manners by watching his foster siblings. He needs to be placed on a "potty schedule" and may require a dog walker midday. If he goes outside on a regular basis and does all his business while out, he will not potty in the house.

Teddy also provides comic relief for his foster family. His foster mom recently came home from a trip and left her open suitcase on the floor. She heard rustling behind her and assumed it was one of her other dogs. Suddenly the rustling stopped and when she peaked, Teddy had helped her unpack by "snuffling" all of her belongings out of the suitcase. All that work made him so tired that he decided a nap inside her suitcase was in order. Sweet dreams, Teddy!

Teddy is a mature dog at 10 years old, who is used to living in a loving home and wants nothing more than a permanent home with a comfy dog bed and a place to hang his leash. This handsome boy has many years of love to give and just wants that special someone to share those days with. Please open your heart to a deserving dog that is past all the puppy antics and email us to find out more about Teddy.
