Bobo is a very handsome guy and will be very devoted to his new owner. He's looking for a loving stable home where he can go for walks and snuggle afterwards.
Bobo's had it rough. He spent the first part of his life chained up outside in all
weather, even in the freezing temperatures we've had this past winter. We know
Bobo was abused and terribly neglected, he had to be removed from his
home. Fortunately for Bobo, OBG came along and took him into foster care.
He now
has a nice foster family with foster doggie brother to keep him
company.
Bobo was heartworm positive when he came to OBG. He has now completed his
heartworm treatment and is heartworm free!!!. Not that Bobo ever knew he was
sick. This is one happy dog! Unfortunately for Bobo, he also had very bad
ears and had to have an ear ablation (removal of the ear canal) on both of his
ears because they were totally closed up and calcified. Bobo has recovered nicely and
is ready for his forever home. He's mostly deaf because of his operation, but
that doesn't slow him down, and he's otherwise in excellent health.
Bobo would do best in an adult household. He would be perfect for someone who wants a canine pal to go on long walks and to play with. He is a very friendly guy who loves to snuggle. He is initially wary of strangers, but will warm up fine after he gets to know them. He gets along with other dogs as long as they aren't all in his face. Because of his wariness with newcomers and his abusive background, we are looking for a home with no children. Bobo has had such a rough life and is ready for someone that can give him the love he has been missing and teach him to trust again.
