Perhaps God originally intended Brisco to be a cat: he's working his way onto 9 lives.  When Brisco was young, he experienced an attack at the hands of his groomer. One of his ears was chopped and he was stabbed in the chest. He still carries those physical scars.

Afterwards, Brisco found his way from the shelter into a home. For years, Brisco had love and regular vet care. But
things turned sour when his owner married. The new wife didn't like Brisco. He was condemned to the garage, and
when the baby came, Brisco landed in another shelter. That's when OBG came along. Brisco has been in the same
foster home for 6 months now, where he works through his emotional scars. He needs to be the only pet, as he has
trouble sharing the attention he so badly needs. He also seems to prefer women to men. Perhaps that groomer was
male? His foster father has worked hard to earn Brisco's trust by being the one to serve the meals and take Brisco
for walks, but it remains obvious that Brisco is a ladies man. His ideal home would be with a single woman.
Our vets have determined that Brisco is hypothyroid. His daily pills have taken the edge off of his moods, helped
his skin clear up and taken some of the excess weight off.  Brisco is a beautiful little man.

Recently, Brisco started vomiting and ended up in the veterinary ICU. Three days: bloodwork, ultrasounds, xrays
... nothing could determine the problem. Pancreatitis? lymphodes?, liver? Cushings? ingested foreign object? All
were presented as possible causes and all were discounted. Brisco wasn't responding, and we were sure this was the
end. Not so. Brisco rallied and is once again healthy, lively and back in foster care.

OBG is now facing a vet bill of over $2,200. Brisco needs sponsors to help foot this bill.

If you can provide Brisco a forever home, please contact his foster family today. You should receive a response within 48 hours. If you don't, please resend a message through our contact page.

We would greatly appreciate donations to offset Brisco's medical bills which total $4000 to date;  Please send donations to………
