Sweetie Pie's name certainly fits her well.  She really is a Sweetie Pie.  The first thing she does when she meets someone new is to give them hugs and kisses. The cuddling doesn't stop there either.  She's quite the lap dog and she loves to snuggle next to her special person when she sleeps at night.

Sweetie Pie came to cocker rescue almost completely blind due to cataracts.  One eye is not a candidate for surgery because the cataract has started to detach.  The other eye is a very good candidate for cataract removal surgery and we are hoping to raise enough money to get her this surgery.  The doctor believes she has an excellent chance of seeing again when the cataract is removed.

For now, Sweetie Pie isn't letting her lack of vision slow her down.  She loves to go for walks and she loves to play with her ball.  She is also housebroken and gets along well with other dogs and with kids.

This is one great dog!
