ADOPTED July 2002

This is a follow-up on Gigi, who I adopted in Springfield through OBG last July (2002). I call her Annie and she's
now 6, still the cutest thing ever. She was 17lbs when I got her, scared of everything and barely housetrained. It
was told to me that she'd come from a puppy mill and had perhaps never been out of her cage.

A year later, she's 19lbs and is socialized enough to have gone through obedience training and pass with flying
colors! While she'll always be shy, she no longer runs away when the TV comes on or off! She's learned to run, greet
other dogs and ride in the car. She's not much into playing with toys, except that she loves to chase the balls that
dispense treats. It took he over 6 months to trust me, but now her separation anxiety is manageable and she's even
stayed in hotels with me. Annie knows "shake", "leave it" and "wait" as well as the basic commands.

We are a great pair, if I do say so myself. I see now that I should've gotten a dog right after my first one died
instead of waiting 2 years. Annie is my great companion. Thank you to cocker rescue for my little sweetie. I hope
this good news is some small reward for the wonderful work you do.

Thanks again
