Mimi Adopted February 2004 Page last updated on Saturday, March 31, 2007 .
Despite neglect from her former owner, Mimi is a very sweet, affectionate and friendly little girl. She has a soft white coat with several tan spots and freckles on her face. At her foster home she enjoys hanging out with the other Cocker Spaniels and the occasional car ride. Mimi is house-broken, well behaved at bath time and does not mind having her ears cleaned. Even though she has a cataract on her right eye (non-visual in the right eye) and a partial cataract on the left eye (she has vision in the left eye), after the first week in her foster home she knew her way around the house. To see her in her foster home you would never know that she is visually challenged. With respect to Mimi’s age, the Vet’s guess is approximately 10. However, at play time in her foster home, she has the energy and friskiness of a much younger dog so we are just not sure. Cocker Spaniels live to be 14-16 years old – so Mimi still has a good number of years left to share with someone. Mimi is looking for someone who enjoys evening walks; watching TV and dining. Care and love her and she will love you back and follow you anywhere. If you are interested in making Mimi a member of
