Oscar
Adopted January 2004 Page last updated on Saturday, March 31, 2007 .
Oscar is in his second childhood. He was neglected for many years and is ready to start a new life in a loving home. He came to OBG with severely infected ears, and 5 tumors to be removed (they were all benign). Because of his ears, Oscar is hearing impaired (he doesn't mind!) He also has low thyroid, which is not unusual for an older dog . He requires daily medication (inexpensive - $20 per year) that boosts his thyroid. So he feels a lot better now. Oscar is a happy dog now, and a really great guy. He loves to go on walks and will greet you at the door when you come home. He follows me around the house when I am home and likes other dogs and cats. Oscar just loves everyone who will share some love! Oscar does not bark since he can't hear--nice and peaceful!
