Dear Kathi, Gail and Everyone at Oldies but Goodies,
I'm writing to send you some pictures of our little boy, and to thank you
so much for all your help in adopting him. He's doing very well. He
graduated from basic obedience school (we were so proud!), and he's
decided to move on to intermediate. He loves seeing the other dogs
there, and all the praise and treats he gets when he learns something new. As
for family life, our cat, Claudia, whom we were a little worried about,
has come to realize that, though he makes too much noise and a lot of
sudden movements,
her new brother doesn't mean her any harm. For Zach's part, he's trying
hard not to chase her (it's hard to resist a running kitty), but sometimes he
gives her a big wet sloppy kiss, which she does not appreciate! They are
tolerating each other well and, I hope, will soon be good friends.
I think Zach is very happy with us, and we just love him more and more every day,
