ADOPTED August 2002
My husband and I adopted Boomer (a little black and gray terrier-poo) from
your rescue at the end of last summer. Since then, we can honestly say we
don’t know how life would be without him! When we first brought him
home, he wouldn’t go up or down the stairs. We carried him up and down
one time and I guess he was comfortable with what he saw -- now he flies up and
down like the wind! He’s adjusted very well and is a wonderful
companion. He enjoys his daily walks, all of his toys and even doesn’t
mind the occasional bath. He didn’t socialize very well with other
people at first but over the past few months has become less nervous around
them. He adores my sister – greets her like he greets me. He’s
turning into quite a snuggle-pup. I’ve taken him to the dog park a few
times, but to my surprise he’s quite a wall-flower and won’t leave my side.
We just wanted to let you know that we are so happy to have Boomer as a part of
our family. He is our baby!
