Dear OBG:
I'm sending several pictures of Caroline, the seven-year-old(ish) Cocker I adopted in February of 2002. As you can see, she's doing wonderfully. She is just a swweeeett dog, and everyone who meets her likes her.
I own a house in Arlington, but also own a horse that I board out in Upperville, Virginia and both Caroline and my Jack Russell Terrier, Scotty, come out to the barn with me about three times a week. My horse, Maggie, is great with the dogs, and even shares her apples with them (or at least the dribbles and little pieces she drops -- see the picture below). One of my friends at the barn liked Caroline so much that she also adopted a Cocker from Oldies But Goodies -- his name is Mickey (although they've changed it from his adopted name).
Anyway, life is good for Caroline. I want to thank you for the good work you're doing -- I'll keep sending people your way and Caroline will continue to be a walking advertisement for adoption.
